We offer a variety of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) VOIP Solutions. This technology enables you to make calls via a Broadband Connection. The main benefits being reduced cost and for multi-site users, calls between inter-office VOIP connections are free of charge. Nine's 2 solutions are aimed at different user types.

For the smaller business or homeworker, we offer "Featureplus" a small hardware based solution.

For businesses with a telephone system or looking to install a system, we offer SIP trunks as an alternative to ISDN lines.

A SIP trunk is best considered as an IP phone line, similar to existing telephone lines but provided over a broadband connection rather than a typical copper/cable line. SIP trunks will be supplied as an alternative to ISDN 2 or ISDN 30 lines. A high quality broadband connection (ADSL or SDSL) will be supplied and the required number of SIP trunks will be provisioned onto this connection.

The latest telephone systems typically accept the direct connection of SIP trunks in the same way as ISDN. Some older systems may need a converter box which enables them to be treated as if they were ISDN circuits. We can advise on preferred converter boxes.

SIP trunks typically suit new site system installation or existing sites being upgraded for the years to come. SIP trunks significantly reduce the cost of ISDN line rental but a typical installation may also have ISDN lines as a backup.
